A lovely couple of Days with Family & Les Miserables πŸ˜†πŸ˜±πŸ˜

Hi Everyone! How are we all?!

I’ve had such a lovely few days this week and I can’t wait to tell you all about my adventures!

Monday evening my dad came to see my sister and I for dinner (a long story but I did have a Neurologist appointment on Tuesday but they cancelled it so instead dad came down and we just had a lovely time with him 😊)

We went out to this lovely little pub near where we love and had such delicious food, mint tea (me and megs) and just a fantastic evening ☺️😍

Then on Tuesday dad and I spent the whole day together ☺️ pottering around town, looking round the shops, seeing my sister and finishing off with a little around our Christmas garden centre (it’s beautiful!)

It was such a lovely time and I love spending time with my family πŸ˜πŸ˜ƒ

Wednesday… Well if you follow me on my Instagram account, you will know what I’ve been up to..

Wednesday I took my Aunty to London to see Les Miserables for her birthday & Christmas present!! πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜† We have both been dying to see it and I also treated us to lunch at Mildred’s vegan restaurant.

Omg wow! The show… The show was just spectacular! It was just breathtaking and I’m already looking at tickets to go back again! Haha! The seats we had were pretty good too, you could see the stage very clearly.. we were in the dress circle towards the front.

After the show we hopped into a taxi to one of our favourite places, Liberty’s. It’s just beautiful inside and so big filled with everything from haberdashery to stationary. They also had a Christmas land where my Aunty and I purchased a Christmas bauble.

We then proceeded back to Kings Cross, At Pancras where we had a lovely cup of tea and some food at Fortnum & Masons before riding the train home! It truly was a magical day!

Thursday was a complete day of rest — to be honest I was absolutely exhausted, I love every minute of London but it can be a tad too much at times.

So Thursday was spent watching films, YouTube and totally relaxing so that was lovely ☺️

Friday I went to a friend’s house to help decorate his Christmas tree (he gets stressed when he does it, so myself and another friend volunteered for the job)

We had mulled wine, mince pies (they were vegan) and listened to Christmas music whilst decorating! We had SUCH a great day! These people are work friends and I’d probably go far enough to say that they are my best friends… Nadine has just always been there for me since I started working where I do.. we bonded straight away and always been so close! And Pat has just been the most supportive man friend I think I’ve ever had! We all get on famously and I just am so grateful for them!

Whenever I’ve had a bad day at work or feel a bit rubbish work related, they are always there to make me feel better and cheer me up ☺️ — see.. great work friends!

And finally Saturday night! Saturday night was so incredibly special ☺️ my amazing G cooked me a delicious vegan dinner… AND desert! And we spent such a lovely evening together watching one of my Favourite Christmas films “Jingle All The Way”

With him going to the gym and working shift it’s been a little difficult & we haven’t spent much time together — which I missed dearly so last night meant so much to me.

We also played a few computer games together which I loved too!

I was beyond riddled with fatigue yesterday to the point when I did get home I just fell into George arms and cried (yep… Like a toddler) I get super emotional when I’m tired and do you know what.. George just gives me the biggest hugs, tells me to go and relax and brings me a cup of tea.

I’m just so grateful, blessed, thankful beyond belief to just have amazing people in my life and this week has just been… Amazing!

I hope you’re all as okay as you can be, today I’m relaxing but also popping over to mums for tea ☺️ so that will be nice (she’s got her tree up now too ☺️)

Also if you’d like to see this weeks YouTube video then it will be live at 5:30pm UK time — I’d love it if you could take a look and maybe subscribe — my goal is to reach 100 by the end of the year ☺️

New Store, Nana’s Birthday & Works Christmas Party! #weeklyblog

Hello gang! How are you all? I hope you’ve all had a wonderful week!

Today I am putting up the Christmas tree 😊 (well it’s officially December so it’s okay πŸ˜‚) if you celebrate Christmas when do you put yours up?

So this week has been quite busy for me, our new store opened with work so that’s definitely been keeping me busy and learning the new system, however I’m really enjoying and writing lots of notes so that I can refer back to them if I need to (you must all know by now how organised I like my life to be lol!)

We are a great team and we always work well together, helping each other along.. I always say we are like a family!

By Wednesday (my day off) I was feeling rather tired and a little drained — I had been on the go the last couple of days so I made sure that I had a restful day and relaxed as much as possible.

Thursday was super lovely and exciting! It was my amazing Nana’s birthday and I went up to visit her for the day! My Aunt, Uncle, nana and I went out for afternoon tea at this gorgeous country house called Stapleford Park which is near Melton Mowbray and we had VEGAN Afternoon tea, which was so delicious! It was such a lovely day!

Friday I was back at work learning the new systems.. it’s honestly been going so quickly the days have just flown by! I’m really enjoying learning new things and getting stuck in there and then my lovely George met me after work and we went out for dinner together 😍

There was this new Vegan restaurant in town and we wanted to try it out… Unfortunately it was not to our liking.. I had Mac and Cheese (not as nice as Madeleine Olivia’s recipe) and the rest just wasn’t cooked well enough unfortunately.. we are glad that we went but sadly won’t be going back!

(I had Mac and Cheese, Southern fried seitan and vegan slaw) I think it was just too much also.)

Saturday was our works Christmas Party ☺️ we all went out for dinner and just had such a fabulous evening! They all mean the world to me because of how supportive they’ve been with MS. They are life long friends and I wouldn’t want to be without them in my life!

And today.. Sunday. George is working today so me and Arthur 🐈 are relaxing but also…. Putting up the Christmas tree!! Now that it’s officially December I’m going to put it up, whilst having a Christmas film on in the background.. haven’t decided which one I’ll watch yet!

I hope you’ve all had an amazing week! I can’t wait to tell you all about this coming week!! So much is happening!! Stay tuned for next Sunday’s weekly blog post!

Love and hugs always
